I heard the bad news from the hospital at a time when I should be running forward. A few weeks ago, I got a fracture diagnosis that my finger, which I hurt while playing soccer, was eventually broken. I was 200% hoping for a quick recovery, but I have to wear a brace for at least two months.
Using this hand to use the computer, clicking the mouse, and even eating is difficult. As a right-handed person, I can't use chopsticks at all, so it's hard to eat delicious food.
What makes it even more difficult is that I can't type quickly to follow up with customers, I can't make appointments to meet the people I have to meet, and I can't participate in the soccer tournament schedule that's coming up.
Fortunately, the customers and acquaintances are kind and understand even if I can't respond quickly. I'm really heartbroken about the soccer situation. It was a bolt from the blue that I couldn't participate even though the tournament schedule was still left and I had confirmed my advance to the finals. I was even supposed to represent the church in the games, but I can't do that either.
It has become a situation where I can't even hold the oars when I should be rowing when the water comes in. It's really heartbreaking, but I believe there is a reason for this as well.
