A part that is always regrettable when doing sales is ‘price’. As the global economy is unstable, investment is shrinking, and everyone hopes for a cheap price. It feels like this culture is even more severe in Korea. Really, no matter which company you go to, even when we go to the mart, what we always talk about is ‘price’. And they want to make it cheaper somehow. It's as if it's a virtue, and they mistakenly think that if they make the price low, it's their achievement and skill.
The sales closing book suggests an answer to the statement that it is too expensive. “It is true that the price is high, but if you add the benefits of quality, subtract the disappointment of cheap products, and multiply the joy of owning a good product, and divide the cost by the usage period, the conclusion will be favorable for you.”
There is definitely a reason why it is expensive. And there is also a reason why cheap products are cheap. Quality is different, added services are different, and satisfaction and utility are different. Of course, if the price is high, you can receive many benefits. This is a very natural logic in capitalism and a market economy.
It is so regrettable and heartbreaking that Korea is engaging in economic activities under the title of ‘cost reduction’. They knock down the unit price, want a quick delivery date, and say that the quality must also be good. This is a request form that clearly shows the pain of subcontractors. And if the seller reluctantly accepts the buyer's request, the buyer becomes the company's pride. They say they have cut the price and contributed to the company's cost reduction, thereby contributing to productivity and financial indicators.
This is why young people avoid subcontractors, this is why overtime hours occur, and this is why salaries do not increase. This is a very personal opinion, but I wish we could change this structure and culture. If the buyer invests boldly and moves forward by winning-win with the seller, a much more positive partnership will be created. Furthermore, the national economy and the employment market can also be revived.
Investment begets investment. And benefits are given, and you can win-win. Rather than being too tight when the price is high, I hope the culture of ‘a lion's heart’ emerges, which boldly invests when investing with room.
