[Ecohoon] He Feeds and Clothes

Matthew 6:26-30

Christians should know this passage well. Of course, it is also necessary for those who do not believe. Even if we struggle with our livelihood and worry a lot today, the truth does not change. He will provide.

You may have wondered this at least once. How do the birds in the air survive? Who feeds the flowers on the ground, and how do they bloom and live like that? Those are life forms that can live without money and without worry.

The secret is that, as the Bible says, God feeds and raises them. God values us more than the birds in the air and the lilies of the field. He says that since He values us more than them, why are we worrying?

Our faith is weak and insufficient; we are always, every day, faced with the problem of survival and worry. And I'm really anxious about my future. What about the world situation, the relationship between the South and the North, my family, my children, and so on. We are not even enough to glorify the One who created us, yet we are suffering, carrying a full load of worries and going around here and there.

He feeds and clothes us. Even when we are difficult and struggling, He protects us. We must not prejudge His power by our thoughts and judgments.

26: "Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?"
27: "And can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?"
28: "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin."
29: "Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these."
30: "If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?"
