I randomly searched for Lee Sang-hoon of Alconost on Google. These days, when you search on Google, Gemini search results appear. Thankfully, I'm Alconost's "Head of Korea"! It's a bit daunting, but it feels like I'm wearing a badge of honor, which I quite like. Thanks to Gemini for seeing me that way.
It also talks about my role. Furthermore, it explains what kind of company Alconost is and what kind of reputation it has. Yes, we are a company recognized by Slator and we support projects for various clients including Google, TikTok, and Vizor.
Then I tried to see what results ChatGPT and Perplexity showed. ChatGPT even pulled up a picture from my LinkedIn profile! It describes me as the "only Korean responsible for the Korean market" and explains my efforts in market development and customer satisfaction. It's quite amazing. I didn't train ChatGPT to this extent.
So, what about Perplexity? My expectations were high because the two AIs explained it well. However, it seems I still have a way to go before reaching Perplexity. Perplexity shows a picture of Lee Sang-hoon, a former LG Twins baseball player, when searching for Alconost Lee Sang-hoon. And it mentions a very short description about Lee Sang-hoon, Sales & Planning Manager.
How do your searches turn out? I imagine you're probably more recognized by AI than I am. Please share your experiences of searching for yourself using AI!
